Job Description:

The Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology and the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia are recruiting for an Associate or Assistant Professor in gastrointestinal medical oncology to provide patient services, teach, and conduct clinical investigation. Successful candidates will have excellent clinical skills in medical oncology and also have experience in teaching, clinical research, and scholarship (presentations/publications). Candidates for this position are expected to successfully collaborate with existing faculty in the Winship Cancer Institute and may have leadership opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates for this position should be Board Certified or Board eligible, and eligible for licensure in Georgia. Successful applicants will demonstrate academic scholarship in addition to a strong clinical background.

Additional Job Details:

Responsibilities for this position include the consultation and management of patients with gastrointestinal malignancies in hospital and clinic settings; participation in gastrointestinal tumor conferences; conducting clinical and translational research; and, training and supervising clinical fellows.
