Performs research, including external and internal benchmarking, on relevant processes and BPI topics.
Develops thoughtful, high-quality qualitative and quantitative analyses, which can include written documents, flow charts, presentations, and/or spreadsheets.
Provides written and verbal updates to BPI Managers and Directors.
Develops draft deliverables for BPI working groups, steering committees, governing advisory board, and other key stakeholders across campus, as necessary.
Provides support to one or more Business Practice Improvement (BPI) projects (or sub-projects) within the BPI office of Emory University.
Projects can range from implementing new structures, to designing new processes, to conducting analysis on business functions at the university.
Represents BPI projects and the BPI office within the Emory community.
Interfaces with Emory schools and business units regarding BPI initiatives.
Assists BPI Senior Associates, Managers and Directors with work, as needed.
Performs related responsibilities as required.
An undergraduate degree and one to three years in strategic business solutions, management consulting, business process improvement design and implementation, project management or related experience.
Problem solving and analytical (qualitative and quantitative) skills are required.
Proficiency with MS Office applications.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Higher education, healthcare, or not-for-profit experience preferred.
Financial modeling and data analysis are preferred.
