The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences in the Emory University School of Medicine seeks a Director for the Division of Abdominal Imaging. Ideal candidates should be leaders in Abdominal Radiology and have the requisite operational and leadership experience to successfully guide the division. Candidates should have demonstrated success in scholarship, clinical innovation, and/or education, and be capable of fostering faculty development. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience and accomplishments.
The Emory University Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences is comprised of state-of-the-art resources across 6 hospitals and multiple outpatient sites with a large subspecialized clinical and research faculty. The Division of Abdominal Imaging consists of 18 clinical faculty who provide services across the spectrum of body imaging including CT, ultrasonography, MRI, fluoroscopy, and image-guided interventions (including biopsies, abscess drainages, tumor ablation). This division supports a premier abdominal imaging fellowship program with 6 clinical fellows annually, plus dedicated body MRI and research fellows. The division is also integral to the success and education of Emory’s highly-ranked diagnostic radiology residency.
The successful applicant (MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent) should be ABR board-certified. Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with experience.
