The Executive Administrator (EA) provides strategic direction for Emory@Grady, working to implement the policies, strategies, goals, and objectives of the organization.
Provides training to department personnel to ensure appropriate business management, compliance, and adherence to federal/governmental regulations to ensure maximum efficiency and revenue collection.
Responsible for ensuring accurate budget preparation and for performing periodic cost and productivity analysis, working closely with the Emory@Grady leadership.
Functions as a liaison and advocate for School of Medicine (SOM) issues within Grady Health Systems and Children's Health Care of Atlanta/Hughes Spaulding Hospital.
Provides the appropriate financial interface between Grady Administration and SOM activities at Grady. Provides oversight to ensure a seamless interface between back end billing and front end point of service, assisting the Departments to establish accurate and timely methods for charge capture.
Conducts periodic meetings for Department, Clinic, and Grady administrative leadership and provides monthly financial reports to Emory@Grady leadership as required.
May lead meetings of various subcommittees.
Ensures compliance with university, state, and federal guidelines for organizational, human resources, and accounting and auditing procedures. Supervises staff.
Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in business, finance, or related field and seven years of professional business or management experience, including practice plan management experience. Previous supervisory experience.
