Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this position is to provide assistance with maximizing the efficiency of the patient care cycle by analyzing and evaluating data and processes within one of three areas of The Emory Clinic: Patient Access Support Services (PASS), Front-end Clinical Operations and Patient Financial Services (PFS). Support to these concentrations is provided by developing recommendations for process improvement, action plans for implementation, and coordinating a partnership with management personnel and clinic specialty sections. Professional Development: Works with manager to formulate plan for professional development. Attends educational in-services as appropriate. Reporting/Data Management: In their area of concentration, incumbent observes and analyzes business outcomes and offers innovative means to improve upon existing processes. Assists with problem identification and resolution, with a focus on enhancing productivity. In coordination with their supervisor, implements solutions that improve the patient care cycle within The Emory Clinic. Reports any findings generated by assigned projects to the Process Improvement Analyst Program Administrator and Department Points of Contact, including appropriate operational supervisors and/or managers. Staff Resource: Attends required training programs and meetings. Actively pursues opportunities to enhance knowledge and understanding of healthcare operations, patient service standards and revenue cycle management. Attends meetings as required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required. Strong communication skills. A passion for healthcare and strong interest in the healthcare industry.
