Job Description:

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is recruiting a pediatric cardiologist for electrophysiology. Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is the largest pediatric cardiac center in the southeast performing over 1200 catheterizations and over 800 cardiac surgical procedures annually. The physician would be a member of the Emory University School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics at the Assistant or Associate Professor level and would be employed directly by Sibley Heart Center Cardiology. Sibley Heart Center Cardiology is a wholly owned subsidiary of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

Interested candidates should have experience and expertise with electrophysiology studies, catheter ablation, management of pacemakers and defibrillators. This is a full-time position. Night, weekend, and holiday call will be as assigned by physician schedule. Clinical will be primarily service time on the electrophysiology service with additional inpatient and outpatient activities. The physician is expected to deliver the highest quality pediatric cardiology services to patients, their families, and associated partners. Participation in local and national conferences to promote further education is expected. Additional clinical responsibilities may extend to the outpatient environment.

Interested candidates should be Board Certified (or eligible) in Pediatric Cardiology and will be required to remain Board Certified throughout their employment.
