Primary duties are organizing, coordinating, and planning operational facets of a program and its related activities which include, but are not limited to the following: establishing long-term operational objectives, researching factors that may impact the success of the program, and working with individuals or groups to research and document program requirements in order to provide appropriate input into the development of strategic plans.
Develops work plans to accomplish program goals and objectives and monitors progress toward their achievement. Conducts research and gathers information to develop various publications.
Develops promotional materials which may include content for reports, briefings, newsletters, grants or other written information related to the program.
Assists in developing and coordinating program-related conferences, conventions, or meetings.
Monitors expenditures and may participate in the budget planning process and prepare financial reports.
May assist in identifying funding resources and developing fund-raising strategies and initiatives.
Prepares operational and statistical reports.
Conducts training, represents the program at meetings and conferences, and networks with affiliated groups.
May supervise assigned project staff, interns and/or volunteers.
Performs related responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in a field related to the program and two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Emory Continuing Education seeks a part-time Program Coordinator to support the OLLI program which offers engaging intellectual courses and social experiences for senior adult learners. The Coordinator works under the supervision of the Program Manager to plan and implement courses, create catalog offerings, and enter courses into the registration system. Close collaboration with instructors is required to schedule courses and make certain classes have the necessary AV equipment and course materials. Assists Program Manager with enrollment monitoring for all classes to ensure instructors are well informed and prepared for the class sessions. Processes instructor contracts and payments. Provides accurate course information to marketing for website marketing pages. Works with the Program Manager to assure classes run as scheduled or communicates changes in schedules, cancellations, and postponements to appropriate staff. Responsible for learning general information about each course offered so they can competently answer questions about each course. Emergencies arising during the execution of classes must be dealt with immediately. Prepares appropriate financial information to assist with budgeting and revenue and expense tracking. This is a part-time program held primarily Tuesday – Thursday.
Essential Functions Include:
•Daily operational functions including reminders, rosters, evaluations and other essential paperwork are sent to instructor for classes/programs
•Collection of required paperwork for payment processing, processing payments and tracking same
•Review textbook changes each year for updated information
•Review any specific scheduling updates for programming consideration
•Review enrollment figures to assist PM with making go/no go decisions
•Participate in catalog creation for all classes and programs
•Enter information for classes in the systems so proper information is online and in the catalog
•Order materials from publishers, printed materials from EDS, and order supplies as needed
•Manage instructor questions about scheduling and curriculum
•Create financials for the program revenue and expenses and other considerations
