The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Emory University School of Medicine is seeking a full-time Clinical Psychologist to join its outpatient faculty, open academic rank. Applications will be reviewed immediately and will be accepted and reviewed until the position is filled. As part of the growing Adult Psychiatry Outpatient Program, this position will offer the opportunity to participate in clinical care, education, and research.

Primary roles include (1) patient care, (2) supervision and teaching within the psychiatry residency and psychology programs, (3) participation in research or quality improvement, and (4) participation in team-based care models in specialty services (if applicable).

The successful candidate will have established areas of emphasis that are complementary to existing clinical teams and services, as well as distinct areas of focus that would provide needed clinical services (e.g. Severe and persistent mental illness, treatment-resistant depression). Clinical care will involve brief assessments and psychotherapy (individual, family, group, or couples) for adults with psychological problems, based at the Emory Brain Health Center.

Applicants must have a doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA accredited graduate program, an APA accredited internship, and at least one-year supervised postdoctoral training. They must be licensed or license eligible in Georgia.
