Job Description Under the supervision of the Clinical Nursing Director and in cooperation with the Area Practice Manager, provides clinical direction and oversight for all clinical personnel in an outpatient clinic environment serving specific areas. The Nursing Supervisor management responsibilities include day to day leadership of clinical staff, setting and managing daily schedules for all clinical staff, Implementation of training and orientation guidelines for new clinical staff, periodic and annual performance evaluations, management of patient flow, collaborate with EMR Administrator to ensure proper clinical flow and training is provided to clinical staff to ensure adequate support is provided to physicians, management of standard clinical protocols. Provides support and acts as a resource for physicians and other healthcare providers as necessary

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Associate Degree in nursing. CPR certified. Currently licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia. At least two (2) years related experience preferably in an outpatient care setting with one (1) year demonstrated leadership skills. Recent management experience preferred. Thorough knowledge of nursing theory and practice.. Demonstrated sound management principles and strong team working abilities. .

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (Medium): 20-50 lbs; 0-33% of the work day (occasionally); 11-25 lbs, 34-66% of the workday (frequently); 01-10 lbs, 67-100% of the workday (constantly); Lifting 50 lbs max; Carrying of objects up to 25 lbs; Occasional to frequent standing & walking, Occasional sitting, Close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing), Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks
