  • Functions as a human resources professional with expertise in multiple human resources specialties.

  • Analyzes relevant data and provides input into the design and administration of human resources policies, procedures, and programs in an effort to meet the needs of assigned business unit(s).

  • Advises customers, staff and leadership on human resources issues.

  • Interprets and counsels leadership and employees on policies and procedures to ensure their fair and consistent application.

  • Ensures forms and documents are completed in a timely manner.

  • Performs related responsibilities as required.


  • Works as part of the Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) Human Resources team, reporting to the Director of Projects, DAR Human Resources.

  • The primary responsibility for this position is to develop and implement strategies that will recruit and develop a diverse candidate pool for all positions in the Office of Development & Alumni Relations.

  • The position will interact with all hiring managers in DAR and have a partnership with a Central HR recruiter.

  • The position will be responsible for external recruitment using a variety of channels, including but not limited to LinkedIn, networking with industry partners, and referrals.

  • The position will cultivate and maintain a candidate pipeline.

  • Additional responsibilities include supporting the division’s onboarding and retention efforts.

  • Coordinating internship programs and cultivating interest in the work of DAR is an additional focus of the position.

  • The position must be team-oriented and work in concert with division’s talent management goals.

  • In addition, the Senior Associate will provide support to other team members and functions as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field (or equivalent related experience). 5 years of human resources administration experience which includes 3 years in a human resources specialty. Proficient with various personal computer software applications including a word processing, database management, and/or spreadsheet package.
