Functions as a human resources professional with expertise in multiple human resources specialties.
Analyzes relevant data and provides input into the design and administration of human resources policies, procedures, and programs in an effort to meet the needs of assigned business unit(s).
Advises customers, staff and leadership on human resources issues.
Interprets and counsels leadership and employees on policies and procedures to ensure their fair and consistent application.
Ensures forms and documents are completed in a timely manner.
Performs related responsibilities as required.
Works as part of the Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) Human Resources team, reporting to the Director of Projects, DAR Human Resources.
The primary responsibility for this position is to develop and implement strategies that will recruit and develop a diverse candidate pool for all positions in the Office of Development & Alumni Relations.
The position will interact with all hiring managers in DAR and have a partnership with a Central HR recruiter.
The position will be responsible for external recruitment using a variety of channels, including but not limited to LinkedIn, networking with industry partners, and referrals.
The position will cultivate and maintain a candidate pipeline.
Additional responsibilities include supporting the division’s onboarding and retention efforts.
Coordinating internship programs and cultivating interest in the work of DAR is an additional focus of the position.
The position must be team-oriented and work in concert with division’s talent management goals.
In addition, the Senior Associate will provide support to other team members and functions as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field (or equivalent related experience). 5 years of human resources administration experience which includes 3 years in a human resources specialty. Proficient with various personal computer software applications including a word processing, database management, and/or spreadsheet package.
