JOB DESCRIPTION: Reporting to the Director of the Student Union, this position coordinates programming, meeting services, and student staff operations for the University Center. Manages daily operations of Meeting Services. Manages long-term space rental agreements and serve as point-of-contact for building occupants. Serves as the reservation system administrator, advocating for customizations, updates, and new features as needed by the meeting services staff. Determines pricing for meeting and audio/visual services. Develops signature, night, and weekend programs to address the needs of students. Supervises cinema operations and Harland Series programming. Develops marketing and promotional materials. Establishes goals for and assesses programming; maintains programming budget of $25,000. Assists Director in developing revenue-generating strategies and initiatives. Coordinates meetings, events, and conferences in University Center facilities. Supervises two Meeting Services staff members and an operations and student staff coordinator; indirectly supervises approximately twenty-five student staff. May supervise interns. Assesses service delivery, facilities usage, and other areas as assigned. In conjunction with Director, implements and maintains meeting services and building policies. Performs other duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A master's degree in student affairs, higher education administration, or college student personnel, and four years of related experience, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Experience supervising professional staff is preferred. Experience managing large scale events and meetings, reservation software, and client services is preferred.
