TheBiostatistics Shared Resource of the Winship Cancer Institute (https://winshipcancer.emory.edu/research/shared-resources/biostatistics.html) and theDepartment of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics at the Rollins School of Public Health (https://www.sph.emory.edu/departments/bios/index.html)at Emory University are recruitingfor the position of ‘research track faculty’ member. The primary academic appointment will be in the Department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics, and rank (assistant, or associate research professor) will be commensurate with experience. The primary responsibilities of the position are collaborative biostatistical research as an integral member of the Winship Biostatistics Shared Resource and a productive, multidisciplinary team of cancer researchers, and teaching and mentoring graduate students, trainees and fellows. Preference is given to candidates with interest and experience in the design, conduct, analysis, and reporting of cancer clinical trials.

The Winship Cancer Institute is one of only 51 National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer centers, and the only one in Georgia. Winship currently supports four research programs with over 500 members with appointments in 3 schools and over 38 departments. Its Biostatistics Shared Resource, which is comprised of a collaborative group of faculty and staff,provides statistical consultation and collaboration on the design, conduct, analysis and interpretation of Winship investigators' research activities. The Department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics includes faculty, staff and students who are engaged in diverse methodological and applied areas of biostatistics and bioinformatics. Department faculty are engaged in the training of not only students in its vibrant MPH, MSPH, and PhD degrees in biostatistics, but also across the broader Woodruff Health Sciences Center.
