Emory Healthcare/Emory University Assistant Professor or Associate Professor - General Oncologist in Atlanta, Georgia

Emory University School of Medicine and the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory in Atlanta, Georgia are recruiting for an experienced oncologist at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level. The successful candidate will have active involvement in education, clinical research, and patient care as a member of the Dept. of Hematology and Medical Oncology (HMO). Participate and collaborate with various members of the Winship Cancer Institute, and the Georgia Cancer Center for Excellence in the Grady Health System (Grady). Contribute to the Lung, head/neck, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and gynecologic oncology program to develop the cancer program at Grady. Supervise residents and HMO fellows in and in the outpatient clinics; lectures. Contribute to clinical research: enroll patients, collect specimens, and help publish in peer review journals. Will interact closely with related disciplines to develop the cancer program at Grady. Approx. 1.00 FTE clinical service.

Hematology and Medical Oncology is an autonomous Department in the Emory School of Medicine, and physicians are members of The Emory Clinic, Inc. Programs and services are located at Emory University Hospital, Emory University Hospital Midtown, Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital, Emory Johns Creek Hospital, Emory Decatur Hospital, Emory at Buford, the Atlanta Veterans Administration Medical Center, and the Grady Health System.

Additional Details

Candidates must have an MD or an equivalent advanced degree. Candidates for this position should be Board Certified or Board eligible, and eligible for licensure in Georgia.
