Our labs study epigenetic and transcriptional programs that regulate immune responses using cutting edge molecular and cellular immunology approaches, genomics, and bioinformatics. Specific projects include: i) the epigenetic regulation of memory B cell responses in murine influenza models; ii) B cell dysfunction in human autoimmune diseases; iii) the role of epigenetic modifying complexes and transcription factors in plasma cell differentiation, and iv) factors influencing MHC-II and PD-1 gene expression.

We are seeking a bioinformatician to join our growing team to analyze next-gen sequencing datasets. Preference will be given to individuals with experience in 10x single-cell platforms, RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, ChIP-seq, and DNA-methyl-seq. Additional experience in statistical genetics, eQTL analysis, or working with genomic variation will be considered. Our bioinformatics team serves a core group of 6-12 investigators by facilitating initial data processing and QC, data management, data sharing within the group, developing algorithms and computational workflows, developing and maintaining software, and analyzing and integrating transcriptome and epigenomic data using a variety of state-of-the-art statistical and data mining techniques. This position will contribute to the development and application of computational workflows for processing, analyzing, and visualizing data. A successful candidate will be able to synthesize data for publication and work closely with bench scientists.
