Emory University Breast Imaging Fellowship (2019 - 2020) in atlanta, Georgia

Description

Emory University School of Medicine and affiliated hospitals have four Breast Imaging fellowship positions available for July 2019. Candidates can expect to receive extensive training in screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, MRI, and all image-guided breast interventional techniques, including MR-guided biopsy. Our fellows rotate through three hospitals, each with a unique patient population and practice pattern: Emory University Hospital is a tertiary care center; Grady Memorial Hospital sees many indigent patients; Emory Midtown Hospital has both academic and private practice hospital staff. As a result, our fellows are well equipped to practice and thrive in any setting. We are fully digital and have digital breast tomosynthesis. There are ample resources and time for the fellows to be actively involved in the research program. Emory has a large residency program and fellows will actively participate in resident and medical student education. The Breast Imaging Center works as part of a multi-disciplinary team, with weekly integrated conferences at each site to discuss patients and their management. Emory University is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
