Emory University Business Analyst I - Development and Alumni Relations in atlanta, Georgia
JOB DESCRIPTION: Supports efforts to ensure that information systems support departmental objectives and information management needs. Works closely with departmental customers to conduct business analysis and identify business objectives and requirements. Collects information to assist in the development of technology plans and strategies. Assists in planning and implementing systems related projects. Supports customer satisfaction by monitoring the delivery of ongoing information services to designated clients.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Five years of position specific subject matter knowledge and/or experience in planning and applying information technology to one or more business functions OR a bachelor's degree and three years of position specific subject matter knowledge and/or experience in planning and applying information technology to one or more business functions. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Evidence of strong customer service & collaboration skills a must. Strong Excel skills, knowledge of Advance Web, Google Apps, and/or iModules a plus. Must have excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-directional environment. Comfort with new technology is a must.
-Serve as the central point of support and knowledge for use of iModules:
-Advocate for and manage internal customer use of iModules & related tools (ex: API of metadata that LITS is working on) oIdentify areas of improvements oServe as liaison between DAR & iModules oLead regular vendor communication & internal meetings oServe as a central point of contact for all DAR school & unit-based iModules activity, working with all relevant stakeholders including Annual Giving, Gift Records, Development Records, and schools & units.
-Provide excellent customer service to alumni constituency using the iModules and Google Apps and to DAR colleagues regarding iModules and Google Apps.
-Manage membership requests for the iModules platform.
-Maintain Emory community web pages within the iModules and Google Apps system
-Build and maintain event registration pages and forms for all Development and Alumni Relations school and unit events.
-Train relevant Emory staff on both Google and iModules applications.
-Generate reports from both the iModules and Google Apps systems.
-Support efforts to ensure that information systems support departmental objectives and information management needs.
