This position will involve training in both RSPH Enrollment services topics, Admissions/Student Services systems and process, OPUS.Additional training within six months will include OPUS Advanced Training and Slate. About-Rollins School of Public Health (RSPH) is Emory University’s largest professional school with more than 1250 students enrolled in any year. The Office of Admissions and Student Services is the comprehensive student support office and comprises teams of Admissions, Student Engagement, Enrollment Services, and Career Development. This position primarily supports the Enrollment Services team with opportunities to engage and serve other teams within Admissions and Student Services. Evaluates systems and processes related to financial aid/scholarship, academic standing, course pre-registration, course evaluation, and other academic operations. Executes functions related to above systems and processes.
Creates and enhances systems and workflow utilizing technology. Serves as the liaison between functional and technical support. Responsible to communicate systems and processes to internal and external stakeholders. Liaises with the student information systems team to share best practices and align processes. Represents ES a part of the systems inventory/development group.Manage and implementing solutions to support academic operations and the student/faculty experience such as course evaluation (Evaluation Kit), Interfolio, etc. Oversees, monitors, and responds to request for data for University, School, Academic Departments and Accrediting Agencies.
Supports efforts to ensure that information systems support departmental objectives and information management needs.
Works closely with departmental customers to conduct business analysis and identify business objectives and requirements. Collects information to assist in the development of technology plans and strategies.
Assists in planning and implementing systems related projects.
Supports customer satisfaction by monitoring the delivery of ongoing information services to designated clients.
- Five years of position specific subject matter knowledge and/or experience in planning and applying information technology to one or more business functions OR a bachelor's degree and three years of position specific subject matter knowledge and/or experience in planning and applying information technology to one or more business functions.
Experience with a CRM(s) such as Slate and SalesForce for process improvement
Experience with Student Information System such as PeopleSoft SA, Banner, etc. including query development, report creation, and tracking curricular requirements.
Experience with Classroom Management Software such as Canvas or Blackboard and general principles of instructional design.
Experience with program evaluation and data analysis including functional software knowledge in excel, SAS, SPSS, etc.
Experience in Graduate/Professional School Academic Affairs and/or Curriculum Development
Excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
Prior training experience helpful.
NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University location as needed. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to employee.
