The Goizueta Business School BBA Career Management Center and Pathways Career and Professional Development office is in search of a Career Center Manager, Recruiting Operations, working in the centralized career center and with the BBA Career Management Center (CMC). This position reports to both the Assistant Dean & Executive Director, BBA Career Management Center, as well as the Director, Recruiting & Employer Development in the career center.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Manages and is responsible for the on-line and on-campus recruiting program in the University Career Center.

  • Responsible for the daily recruitment function for employer recruitment and associated information sessions.

  • Manages recruiting relationships, on-campus recruitment scheduling, event coordination, job postings, and event marketing.

  • Assists in the strategic planning process to expand and diversify employer outreach in recruiting and with the Corporate Partners Program.

  • Meets with employers to develop and strengthen on-campus recruiting relationships.

  • Coaches students on interview preparation and techniques.

  • Reviews and resolves employer and student concerns associated with the recruiting program.

  • Develops training materials and conducts training on the use of various systems.

  • Represents The Career Center and makes presentations at professional organization events and conferences.

  • Maintains website content and manages on-line recruiting software.

  • Collaborates with university staff, employers, Career Center staff and university colleges to prepare and present programs.

  • Oversees the survey of employers and students; summarizes and analyzes the results.

  • Assists in the development of on-campus recruiting policies and procedures.

  • May act on behalf of the Associate Director.

  • Performs related responsibilities as required.

ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS:

  • Serves within the BBA Career Management Center and the Emory Career Center with primary focus on supporting the planning, implementing, evaluating and directing of all activities related to the provision of on-campus recruiting and employer/parent/alumni relationship building including on-campus recruiting activities, the marketing and administration of related internship programs.

  • Responsible for the daily recruitment function for the CPD and BBA CMC Recruiting Program, managing employer relationships and recruitment— on-campus interviews, information sessions, event coordination, job postings, event marketing, etc.

  • Meets with employers to develop and strengthen on-campus recruiting relationships, strategizing future opportunities, and finding ways to increase student engagement and employer brand awareness.

  • Supports the strategic planning and promotion of the CPD Corporate Sponsors Program to expand and diversify employer outreach, as well as provide additional resources for student career readiness.

  • Collaborates with CPD and BBA CMC staff, university partners, and employers to prepare and present career readiness programs.

  • Prepares content and coaches students on interview preparation and techniques for success.

  • Reviews and resolves employer and student concerns associated with the recruiting program.

  • Maintains student job & internships portal, Handshake, approving jobs, events, and interview schedules.

  • Assists with management of the Recruiting Program Email Inbox, ensuring timely responses and resolutions.

  • Works with CPD Technology staff to update Recruiting Program website content.

  • Oversees the survey of employers and students; summarizes and analyzes the results.

  • Represents CPD and BBA CMC at professional organization events and conferences.

  • Contributes to the development of on-campus recruiting policies and procedures.

  • Develops student and CPD training materials, conducting training on the use of various systems.

  • Performs related responsibilities as required.

  • Supports BBA CMC and BBA Program Office programming efforts.

  • Some evening and weekend responsibilities.

  • Some travel – approximately 25%.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor's degree and two years of on-campus or business/industry recruiting experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
