Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Oversees the clinical supervision and training of clinical psychology graduate students for the Emory College Psychology Department.

  • Overseeing the administration of the clinic, including management of clinic staff, direct supervision of trainees, graduate teaching and mentoring in clinical interventions and/or assessment, and providing supervision coverage.

  • Provides doctoral-level clinical supervision for trainees in Department's APA and PCSAS accredited clinical psychology program.

  • Responsible for and contributor to on-going pedagogy and curriculum development for doctoral trainees to include running training workshops involving outside experts to present on specific psychotherapy modalities or intervention techniques, as well as didactic instruction on psychotherapy practice.

  • Collaborates with and provides direct support to the Clinic Director and Director of Clinical Training in the administration of program's in-house training clinic and doctoral training program.

  • May serve as a professional resource within the community, which would include coordinating CE workshops to ensure licensure requirements are met for licensed clinical faculty in the greater Emory community and promoting empirically supported practices. Other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS:

  • We are considering candidates who are interested in a part-time (20 - 35 hours per week) or full-time (36 - 40 hours per week) position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A doctorate in psychology and two years of psychological counseling and/or assessment experience. Must have minimum of two years of supervisory experience in the clinical psychology field. Licensed as a Psychologist in Georgia by the time of start date.

NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
