JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Consults with management and staff to design, develop and maintain a website.

• Develops, writes and edits various communications materials including correspondence, newsletters, brochures and articles.

• Develops and maintains effective methods for distributing communication materials and information.

• Maintains required record-keeping and documentation.

• May train staff in the use of communications technology.

• May utilize various aspects of social media to accomplish work objectives.

• Performs related responsibilities as required.

ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS:

• The successful candidate will have broad experience across various communication channels including copywriting, correspondence, social media, flyers, newsletters, and other marketing materials, and should have experience using CRM systems—ideally Hubspot—to manage communications.

• An eye for formatting and graphic design is highly desirable as is experience with data analytics.

• This is a two year position with the possibility of renewal based on performance and funding.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and three years of related experience, or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.

NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department of work. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
