Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Serves as the resource for advanced psychometric procedural knowledge and skills.

  • Creates, maintains, and revises, as appropriate, protocol and administration manuals for clinical and research testing.

  • Coordinates training schedule of and trains psychometrists, interns, and externs on neuropsychological testing, scoring and database entry.

  • Conducts clinical and research activities related to administration of neuropsychological evaluations.

  • Oversees daily administrative functions of research studies, including those related to nationwide multi-site studies where Emory is the center site, traveling to sites as needed.

  • Assists with managing, reviewing, and tracking research and clinical data for quality control to maintain consistency across psychometrist administration and scoring of test measures and completion of clinical record forms for local and nationwide research and multi-site studies.

  • Reviews test administration and scoring of psychometrists locally and at collaborating sites via videotape and in person, providing feedback and retraining to psychometrists as necessary, to maintain quality and consistency across psychometrists.

  • Maintains supplies, equipment, materials, tracking systems.

  • Coordinates scheduling of testing rooms, equipment, and materials.

  • Assists with IRB tasks.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bacehlor's Degree in Clinical Psychology, Education, Assessment, or related field, including formal education/coursework in neuropsychological test administration and scoring.

  • Three years of experience in neuropsychological testing and scoring which must include one year experience workingin a hospital or university setting, one year experience training others on neuropsychological test administrationand scoring, and one year experience working in research and clinical testing.

NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University location as needed. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to employee.
