Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinates and facilitates daily operation of the Radiance Boutique at the Emory Winship Cancer Institute.
Certified in performing specialized patient care procedures including fitting of cranial and breast prostheses, bras, and compression items.
Activities include the purchase and management of inventory and office supplies, cash management, coding, billing, charge entry and payment posting.
Maintain orderly, clean and attractive Boutique environment. Ensure compliance with HIPPA regulations.
Develops, implements and monitors this patient focused service to promote a supportive and healing environment that enhances customer and staff satisfaction.
Reviews, confirms, and documents insurance benefits related to boutique products.
Estimates and collects patient out of pocket payment obligations.
Communicate with patients, staff, and care providers in order to relay appropriate information.
Assist in marketing and promotes patient related products and to EHC departments and medical staff.
Work in cooperation and under the supervision of the Boutique Senior Coordinator or Manager.
Serve as a resource to other staff members, patients and Volunteers.
Minimum Qualifications:
Two years related experience.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Additional relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Current documented certification for fitting of breast, cranial prostheses or compression garments.
Experience using various software packages including database applications, spreadsheets, and word processing.
Specialization in compression garments preferred
