We are seeking a strategist with experience in data, analytics, and/or AI strategy to join our dynamic Data & AI team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in helping to define the data, analytics, and AI strategy for Emory University and Emory Healthcare and working cross-enterprise to help govern, enable, implement, track, and adapt the success of the strategy.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategy, process design, business case development, governance, operating model design and implementation, and developing communications for various stakeholders including but not limited to non-technical senior executives.

Work Location: Hybrid - Atlanta, GA - On-Site presence required on an as needed basis, possibly 3-4 days per week.

Candidates will be required to do an in-person case interview at our offices in in Atlanta, GA.

Data & AI Strategy Senior Analyst Salary: $36.75/hr - $66.53/hr

The grade and salary of the position are based on specific criteria met within the qualifications of relevant experience, skills, performance and internal equity.

Description

The Data & AI Strategy Senior Analyst will collaborate with Data & AI team members, digital/technology teams, and business stakeholders as needed to assist the Corporate Director of Data & Analytics Strategy with:

  • Defining and maintaining a cross-enterprise Data & AI roadmap for data, analytics, business intelligence and AI.

  • Consulting with and advising business stakeholders on how to design, measure, and successfully implement data, analytics, and AI proof-of-concepts, pilots, roadmap activities, etc. to help ensure realization of value.

  • Developing business and technical definitions for KPIs and Metrics to support future analytics, AI, and automation needs.

  • Developing business and technical definitions for KPIs and Metrics to measure roadmap success and value realization.

  • Monitoring and reporting on KPIs and metrics for value tracking.

  • Coordinating cross-enterprise governance meetings.

  • Working with governance leaders to develop governance materials including but not limited to meeting materials; governance rules for ensuring data quality, granting and revoking access to data, etc.; decision criteria based on precedence and best practices; and governance processes

  • Refining operating model design and related documentation.

  • Coordinating with HR, Finance, and other key stakeholders to assist with operating model implementation activities.

  • Developing internal communication and external marketing materials in a variety of formats (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Email, Social Media Posts, etc.) for technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Synthesizing technical details and results from data, analytics, and AI projects to communicate to senior executives and gain buy-in.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong interest and passion for the healthcare as well as data, analytics, and AI as demonstrated by coursework, internships, co-op, or other work experience, and/or extracurricular activities.

  • 1 to 2 years working in data, analytics, and AI strategy and/or implementation (required).

  • 1 to 2 years working in a healthcare and/or University environment (required).

  • 1 to 2 years at a top-tier consulting firm working in a strategy and/or management consulting group (strongly preferred).

  • Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders in a multitude of formats (e.g., oral, written, visual, etc).

  • Ability to build strong collaborative relationships and trust with technical team members and peers. Intermediate understanding of and ability to articulate data, analytics, and AI concepts.

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Power Point and Excel.

  • Strong attention to detail but with a bias for action.

  • Ability to produce and iterate on content rapidly.

  • Any combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • Candidates will be required to do an in-person case interview at our offices in in Atlanta, GA.
