Creates and maintains a data dictionary and meta data.
Supports efforts to ensure that data standards are developed and maintained.
Ensures that the uses of data through reports and queries are accurate.
Supports business and system re-engineering and architecture development to define future data needs.
Serves as an organizational consultant on matters relating to databases by providing expertise to assist users in meeting their needs.
- Two years of experience in processes and standards related to data OR a bachelor's degree.
Excellent working knowledge of STATA
Excellent working knowledge of the REDCAP data system in low-resource settings, including the offline REDCAP data ap for survey development, survey administration, secure data transfer, secure data cleaning, and data management report generation
Experience with other programming languages, such as MPlus and IRTPro, or willingness and ability to learn these programming languages
Experience generating STATA- and MPlus-based reports using a variety of methods and exporting those reports to other formats such as Microsoft Excel, PDF, and HTML
Experience conducting analyses, such as measurement modeling, structural equation modeling, measurement invariance testing, propensity score approaches to test for treatment effects; analysis of RCT data.
Capacity to work effectively with international partners
Experience with various publicly available datasets
Outstanding organizational skills, ability to work with quantitative data, basic understanding of demography, epidemiology, or biostatistics and related terminology
Ability to work independently to identify logic flaws, invalid responses, and other issues in web-based survey data and develop solutions for larger team
Able to handle multiple tasks at once; meet deadlines, familiar with databases, detailed, flexible, able to manage relationships
Demonstrated experience contributing data analysis to manuscripts and reports to funding agencies
Experience with work related to gender, gender-based violence, or adolescent and women’s health issues more broadly
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster a good working relationship on team and multisite studies
- The position will be remote at the time of hire.
