Reporting to the Chief Business, Operations & Analytics Officer within the Goizueta Business School, the Director of Data & Financial Modeling is responsible for centralized school rankings; student, revenue, and costing projections utilizing data-driven models; multi-year budget projections, and strategic recommendations to the Dean.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Coordinates with GBS leaders on the centralization of school rankings across all areas, including overall assurance of accurate data and providing strategies for improving rankings.
Advises the Dean and GBS leaders on matters associated with student projections for undergraduate, MBA, and masters' programs.
Provides projections for revenue growth based on predictive modeling of various financial scenarios.
Recommends degree program pricing informed by enrollment projections.
Provides models for cost growth due to expansion in faculty and staff; regularly reviews opportunities for cost savings.
Strategizes allocation of faculty to classes to ensure the school's human and financial resources are deployed effectively and efficiently to achieve tactical and operational goals.
In coordination with Chief Business Office, employs predictive models to forecast multi-year projections regarding the school's financial health.
Provides analyses and recommendations to the Dean in a way that contributes to direct strategic and tactical decisions.
Maintains a school-wide view for advancing the GBS priorities through a keen understanding of mission, objective, and fiscal interests.
Performs other related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree in analytics, qualitative methodologies, business, higher education, AND five years in data collection, financial analysis, research analytics OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Doctoral degree preferred.
Extensive Experience with Tableau.
