The Department of Radiology, Emory University School of Medicine, is seeking a full-time radiologist to serve as the Director of Imaging Informatics at Grady Health System at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or full Professor. The candidate filling this position would serve a portion of their time as a clinical radiologist in a subspecialty division with clinical responsibilities at Grady Health System and be a member of the Division of Imaging Informatics. As Director of Imaging Informatics at Grady, they would serve a significant portion of their time leading imaging informatics efforts across clinical, education, and research missions.

The successful candidate will work closely with executive leadership, clinical informatics, information services, radiologists, researchers, and other departments at Grady to lead enterprise and departmental informatics efforts, provide expertise, lead research, and facilitate service excellence. The successful candidate will have experience leading change in complex healthcare environments and proficiency in imaging informatics. Preferred qualifications include training and credentials in informatics such as fellowships, ABII certification, or ABPM certification.

Grady Health System, Atlanta’s safety net health system, also serves as the region’s busiest level one trauma center and comprehensive stroke center. The Department of Radiology at Grady performs 400,000 imaging procedures annually and provides academic subspecialty level care, playing a key role in the departmental educational mission.

Members of the Division of Imaging Informatics in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at the Emory University School of Medicine have ready access to tools, workflows, and administrative support to facilitate their success. Besides other imaging informatics faculty in radiology, members of the division will have access to partners from computer science, biomedical informatics, biomedical engineering, key vendors, other nearby academic institutions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be ABR Board-certified/eligible, subspecialty certified or eligible, and eligible to obtain an unrestricted Georgia medical license. Faculty rank will be commensurate with experience and accomplishments.
