Provides technical and analytical support on with a particular emphasis on data integrity, systems support and implementation, and best practices as it relates to process streamlining, training, and documentation for PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, CourseLeaf and other supporting systems.
Provides oversight of the daily management of the Technology and Systems Support area within the Office of the University Registrar.
Manages staff that serve as the technical resource for school liaisons, faculty, academic departments, and other constituents on campus.
Manages functions within PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, including web-based processes, control tables, start and end of term processes, and other related system functions.
Develops policies/best practices to help ensure security and accuracy of the student database and that the full functionality of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions is being utilized, in partnership with the Student Information Systems team.
Ensures self and supporting staff is current with best practices, system updates, and software upgrades for all supported systems.
Develops ways in which PeopleSoft can be used to its fullest potential, to meet the ever-changing technology-oriented needs of student records, registration, graduation, and student service processes at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Assists in the analysis of emerging technologies and their feasibility for implementation.
Provides leadership in the assessment, selection and implementation of web-based delivery systems and other software applications.
Develops business process improvements for the Registrar's Office and Enrollment Management division in support of registration, graduation, and courses using technology and systems.
Performs other related duties as required.
A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field and five years of related work experience, which includes management/supervisory experience, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Expertise in Registrar's office best practices, student systems and maintenance; process documentation, data mapping, analysis, and reporting strongly preferred.
Thorough knowledge of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions including the Student Records is strongly preferred.
Ability to interact effectively, professionally, and collaboratively with diverse constituencies including faculty, administrators, staff, and students and to be an effective team member within the office and university community.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
NOTE: Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; working remote is not an option. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to employee.
