This position is a six month assignment with options for renewal or conversion to a regular status role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitors and supports the day to day faculty recruitment to include two different applicant tracking systems.

  • Ensures steps are taken in a compliant search and that data are correct prior to sending over 1200 changes and updates annually to the PeopleSoft team.

  • Serves as the liaison with each school and department to communicate changes and offer reporting and actions steps for Affirmative Action.

  • Collaborates with colleagues in the Provost's Office, diversity leaders and Central HR on a regular basis. Works with affirmative action colleagues to update reports and communicate to all schools and departments.

  • Conducts regular meetings with school contacts and annual meetings with leadership. Guides the Title IX, DAS and Diversity Equity and Inclusion Offices on HR issues including sourcing, recruitment, onboarding, benefits communication, compensation matters, terminations and the staff exit process.

  • Provides HR guidance for other departments in the Central Provost's Office, as needed.

  • Develops content and conducts training to new and interested HR representatives across the university enterprise on faculty recruitment and compliance protocol.

  • Develops and delivers modules for iCIMS and FACET / Interfolio.

  • Performs related responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor's degree and three years of related experience which includes leadership responsibilities, preferably in a higher education environment OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

  • A working knowledge of iCIMS, Interfolio, PeopleSoft, Excel and Access preferred.

  • Experience conducting training or with program facilitation and in AAP data management/planning desirable.

  • Knowledge of EO/AA compliance guidelines is preferred.

NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department of work. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
