Description
The Renal Division of the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking outstanding academically oriented candidates to join our Research faculty cohort. Candidates should have excellent training; a strong record of scholarship and teaching, a demonstrated capacity to secure external funding; and the potential to establish a high-impact research program. The successful candidate must have significant evidence of national recognition for their research, as evidenced by a strong original research publication record in front-line Nephrology-oriented journals, independent research funding, and other evidence, including a previous strong funding record and invited presentations at national scientific meetings.
Minimum qualifications include an MD, a PhD, and/or an MD-PhD (or equivalent) with significant research training in an appropriate field, postdoctoral experience, and an outstanding record of research accomplishments. A demonstrated ability to secure external research funding and publication in peer-reviewed journals is expected.
Track and rank will be commensurate with experience.
