Emory University Head Women's Softball Coach in atlanta, Georgia


Emory University in Atlanta, GA, a nationally competitive NCAA Division III institution and a member of the University Athletic Association (UAA), is accepting applications for the position of Head Softball Coach. The head coach is responsible for all aspects of a highly competitive NCAA Division III softball program. Duties include, but not limited to: all coaching duties related to games and practices, recruiting, student-athlete development, fund-raising, scheduling, budget management, travel arrangements, alumni & public relations and staff supervision. The successful candidate must adhere to all NCAA, UAA, and institutional policies and procedures and to work cooperatively with all constituencies and campus units.

A Bachelor’s degree is required; however a Master’s degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have previous college playing and head coaching experience with a strong understanding of the NCAA Division III philosophy and its role at a top-ranked, private, comprehensive institution. Must also possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, communicate effectively (verbal and written), have the ability to multi-task and operate within an extremely motivated, team oriented atmosphere.

This position is a full-time, ten-month, faculty equivalent appointment with a comprehensive benefits package.
