JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for analyzing, trending, and presenting production metrics for EHC Imaging Services. Resolve workflow issues at one or more EHC Imaging Services sites including: EUH, EUHM, EUOSH, WW, and TEC. Communicates with Physician Leaders and Administrators the opportunities for improving EHC Imaging Services workflow. Works with manager to formulate plan for professional development. Attends educational in-services as appropriate. Participates in professional activities and organizations to maintain knowledge of current trends, practices, and developments. Renews ARRT licensure and updates certification to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation on a bi-annual basis. Create action plans to improve EHC Imaging Services Workflow. Employee will analyze the Imaging Dashboards to identify opportunities to improve turn around time (TAT) for radiologists and technologists. Maintains accurate notes in remedy and weekly work logs for reporting purposes.
Coordinates with Imaging Application Services to resolve tickets that are a result of workflow issues and application / technical issues. Will also coordinate the efforts of the Imaging Workflow Specialists (I.W.S.) within the EHC Imaging Services Department. Maintains accurate notes in remedy and weekly work logs for reporting purposes. Employee will be responsible for responding to all logged tickets from EHC Imaging Services within a 4 hour period. All responses and resolutions are to be appropriately recorded in Remedy to ensure accurate reporting. Pulls data from all available resources to provide big picture over: report cards, trending, issue types, and resources. Notifies managers/Assistant Directors where issues have been identified and not resolved. Generate report cards to managers/Assistant Directors on a regular basis regarding imaging workflow opportunities/successes.
Master Trainer level understanding of these applications and their integration points to include knowledge of Knowledge of GE PACS, RadNet, Radiology Desktop, and Powerscribe. Trained on EHC Remedy Application. Regularly meets with EHC Imaging Services Leadership, Radiologists, and Expert Users to present findings and opportunities to resolve and improve workflow. Seeks input and recommendations from EHC Imaging Services employees. Clearly communicates potential issues and opportunities to management. Remains knowledgeable in regards to HIPPA and departmental policies, also ensures compliance with requirements by reviewing all relevant documents and informing physicians of changes on departmental services or programs. May require on-call responsibilities for nights, weekends, and holidays.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of an accredited school of radiological technology. Three years of experience in imaging services department with strong knowledge of imaging workflow, imaging modalities, and medical anatomy. Experience in application systems/administration beneficial. Current registry certificate from the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (Medium): 20-50 lbs; 0-33% of the work day (occasionally); 11-25 lbs, 34-66% of the workday (frequently); 01-10 lbs, 67-100% of the workday (constantly); Lifting 50 lbs max; Carrying of objects up to 25 lbs; Occasional to frequent standing & walking, Occasional sitting, Close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing), Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.

Environmental exposures include, but are not limited to: Blood-borne pathogen exposure Bio-hazardous waste Chemicals/gases/fumes/vapors Communicable diseases Electrical shock, Floor Surfaces, Hot/Cold Temperatures, Indoor/Outdoor conditions, Latex, Lighting, Patient care/handling injuries, Radiation, Shift work, Travel may be required. Use of personal protective equipment, including respirators, environmental conditions may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
