JOB DESCRIPTION: Collects, compiles and analyzes data and/or statistics. Maintains databases and records and generates reports related to analysis.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Two years of experience in compiling and analyzing data OR a bachelor's degree.
A one-year position is available in the Canine Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory at Emory University. We train dogs to go into an MRI scanner awake and use fMRI to non-invasively study cognitive processes in their brains. The goal is to decode what dogs think and feel.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic environment with a dedicated 3T research scanner and collaborations across multiple disciplines. For this project, we are looking for an individual who can apply machine learning (ML) methods to fMRI datasets. Must have a bachelor’s degree and be familiar with ML, proficient in Python, and comfortable working with dogs.
