Emory University Information Analyst II - Development and Alumni Relations Operations in atlanta, Georgia
The information analyst in DAR (Development and Alumni Relations) Development Records is responsible for managing and\or supporting the loading and transferring of data between various campus information systems and third party vendors and AWA, the DAR database. Additional responsibilities include processing data loads, data project support, data refinement and enhancement assignments, routine data management, advising on best practices for data conformity, monitoring data integrity and modifying data as required for data conformity to system and division standards, and providing guidance for end-users on inputting data.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Support projects for loading and transferring data between information systems databases that support the Office of Development and Alumni Relations.
Manage the tables that contain values and descriptions of codes used in the DAR CRM database known as AWA.
Maintain business documentation as it relates to data conformity, data integrity, data entry procedures, and data load standards.
Experience writing in queries in PL/SQL.
Provide routine data analysis to ensure conformity and advise management and end-users on adhering to data standards. Monitor and modify data to meet standards.
Recommend policy and procedures for data integrity standards.
Serve as an end-user systems liaison between development data operations and other development and university departments.
Provide support to other development operations teams for data quality assurance testing during database upgrades and during peak processing times.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Collects, compiles and analyzes data. Performs statistical analysis of data. Maintains databases and records and generates reports related to analysis. Assists in presenting results of analyses.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree and two years of experience in compiling and analyzing data, or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
