Description

Emory University School of Law seeks to fill multiple contract faculty positions in itslegal writing program (https://law.emory.edu/centers-and-programs/legal-writing.html) beginning in the 2023-2024 academic year. Legal writing faculty teach Introduction to Legal Advocacy, Research, and Communications (ILARC) in the fall semester and Introduction to Legal Analysis (ILA) in the spring semester. Both courses typically have 30 - 35 students.

Candidates will be considered for appropriate positions:

  • Assistant Professor of Practice (0 - 3 years of teaching experience)

  • Associate Professor of Practice (4 - 9 years of teaching experience)

  • Professor of Practice (10 or more years of teaching experience)

Candidates must have a J.D., a distinguished academic record, and some legal practice experience.
