Manages constituent services for state legislators and other state VIPs.
Provides support for activities associated with Emory's state affairs.
Maintains a tracking system to monitor all legislative activity impacting Emory's mission.
Plans and manages campus tours and visits by elected officials and their staffs.
Collaborates with healthcare and higher education colleagues at other colleges and universities and through professional associations (e.g. GHA, GA Chamber, GICA, GRA).
Performs related responsibilities as required.
A bachelor's degree and one year of experience working in the statehouse or comparable job.
Proficiency with various computer software applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to work independently.
NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department of work. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
