The Managing Director of the Goizueta of Real Estate is a pivotal leadership position within our esteemed institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Real Estate Program, demonstrating significant senior-level experience in the real estate industry. This multifaceted role involves staff management, event coordination, fundraising, career support, and potential future leadership of the Real Estate Program.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Oversees all aspects of the Real Estate Program within the Goizueta Business School.

  • This multi-faceted role involves staff management, event coordination, fundraising, career support, and potential future leadership of the Real Estate Program.

  • Assumes a leadership role in managing and developing staff within the Real Estate Program, ensuring a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

  • Organizes and executes all real estate conferences hosted by the program.

  • Provides support for conferences in other areas of the school as needed, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.

  • Plays a key role in fundraising efforts for the Real Estate Program, seeking financial support from relevant stakeholders within the real estate and related industries.

  • Collaborates with the BBA and Grad Careers offices to provide comprehensive career support for students interested in real estate, ensuring they are well-prepared for success in their professional journeys.

  • Teaches occasional courses as an adjunct professor, leveraging practical industry experience to enrich the academic experience of students.

  • Oversees all program staff, fostering a cohesive team environment.

  • Performs related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree and ten years of senior-level experience in the real estate industry.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's Degree

  • Fundraising Experience

NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
