Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Assists in the development of marketing strategies for new and existing programs.

  • Researches prospective audiences.

  • Drafts marketing proposals, reports, and correspondence.

  • Organizes marketing events.

  • Participates in marketing efforts.

  • Coordinates the preparation and production of marketing collateral.

  • Maintains information on selected audiences.

  • Maintains mailing lists and supervises mailings.

  • May utilize various aspects of social media to accomplish work objectives.

  • Performs related responsibilities as required.

  • Develop and execute marketing plans to promote Emory university, with a focus on digital and social media channels.

  • Coordinate communication efforts with admission team across channels, identifying target segments and planning/executing campaigns to increase user engagement.

  • Develop and implement customer support strategies to ensure excellent experiences for prospective students and their families.

  • Assist the communication center team as needed and identify/report common issues or areas for improvement.

  • Create and maintain knowledge base documentation for customer support.

  • Conduct market research to identify higher education market trends and opportunities.

  • Analyze internal communication center data, marketing campaign performance, and social media audits to optimize operations and enhance user experience.

  • Monitor and analyze marketing campaign effectiveness across multiple platforms (email, website, SMS, chatbots, social, paid and organic search) making recommendations for optimization.

  • Collaborate with university departments to ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and channels.

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in marketing, customer support, and higher education.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree and one year of experience in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
