Description

Position Summary:

  • The Orthopedic NP and PA Fellowship Program is a one-year program that prepares fellows to become highly skilled in the multidisciplinary, collaborative, and evidence-based management of complex and challenging patients in Orthopedics.

  • The Fellowship's innovative curriculum covers the entire spectrum of the specialty area including joints, upper extremity, lower extremity, orthopedic oncology and spine.

  • Fellows will have exposure to the care of Orthopedic patients with rotations that will allow them to cultivate specialized and thorough knowledge.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited PA or Acute Care NP Master's program prior to the start of the Fellowship program.

  • National board certification as a PA or Acute Care NP.

  • Eligible for licensure as a PA or NP in Georgia.

  • Eligible for DEA license.

  • American Heart Association BLS, and Healthcare Provider certifications required.

  • Statement of Intent: One-page, 12-point font, double-spaced statement describing career goals and reasons for pursing the fellowship. Include future career plans and how they might be enhanced by additional training in the fellowship.

  • Resume or Curriculum Vitae: Educational background, professional experience, volunteer experience and other relevant information

  • Two Letters of Recommendation
