Description

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine is seeking applicants for a part-time (0.5 FTE) academic position in Anatomic Pathology based at Grady Memorial Hospital. This renowned public academic hospital serves Atlanta and its surrounding communities. Grady’s anatomic pathology division handles approximately 14,000 surgical pathology specimens, 3,200 non-GYN specimens and 75 autopsies annually. The Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine of Emory University is one of the largest training centers for pathologists in the United States and offers unique and exciting teaching and research environments. Applicants must possess MD or MD/PhD degrees, be board eligible or certified in Anatomic Pathology, and be eligible for medical licensure in Georgia. The successful applicant will be comfortable examining a variety of cases in general surgical pathology. Applicants with cytopathology expertise are welcome to apply.
