Emory University and the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine is seeking a part-time faculty member at the Assistant Professor level in the PA Program. This is an academic position requiring student advising and teaching responsibilities.

Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Facilitating small group learning sessions

  • Providing professional and academic advisement for students

  • Assessing student work, including written documentation, live or recorded OSCEs, and summative evaluations

  • Assisting in skills training and simulation lab sessions

  • Engaging in quarterlySocietymeetings and the Emory PA Program retreat

  • Completing additional tasks as assigned by the course director and program director

Qualifications Required:

  • A Master’s degree or higher

  • Current NCCPA certification

  • Current GA license or eligible for GA license

  • Minimum of 3 years clinical experience

  • Faculty experience preferably in PA education or precepting

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
