Emory University Pediatrics- Pediatric Cardiologist-(Outlying GA Community) in Atlanta, Georgia


Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is recruiting a junior-mid level pediatric cardiologist for an outpatient and consultative pediatric cardiology position in an outlying GA community. Hands-on echo imaging expertise, including fetal, is required. Travel to field clinics will be expected. This job position will interface with a busy local tertiary-care NICU and ACHD patient management. The physician would be a member of the Emory University School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics and would be employed directly by Sibley Heart Center Cardiology. Sibley Heart Center Cardiology is a wholly owned subsidiary of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. The cardiology service provides outreach at multiple local communities and hospitals across the state of Georgia. Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is the largest pediatric cardiac center in the southeast performing approximately 1200 catheterizations and over 800 cardiac surgical procedures annually.

This position is full-time and expected to take night, weekend, and holiday call as assigned by physician schedule. The physician is expected to deliver the highest quality pediatric cardiology services in a prompt and courteous manner to patients, their families, and associated partners. They will be required to participate in local conferences to promote further education about heart disease in children and pediatric cardiology for families and caregivers.

Interested candidates should be Board Certified in Pediatric Cardiology and will be required to remain Board Certified throughout their employment.
