The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine is seeking qualified pediatricians on a PRN basis, to staff the urgent care areas of the emergency departments at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston and Hughes Spalding. Job expectations include excellent clinical and customer service skills, and the training to manage low to mid-range acuity. Physicians have to cover at least 2-3 shifts per month and be willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Qualified applicants must be board-certified in Pediatrics, have a valid Georgia license, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, and meet Emory University requirements for faculty appointments and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s requirements for credentialing.
