Emory Healthcare/Emory University Research Interviewer - Temporary in Atlanta, Georgia

PRISM Health seeks a Research Interviewer to support participant recruitment and marketing efforts for a research project focused on uptake of PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) among young MSM (men who have sex with men) in rural and small town areas of Georgia, Mississippi, and North Carolina. The person in this role will be required to travel to communities in the aforementioned states and work with research team members to execute recruitment and marketing strategies on college campuses.

A personal automobile or ability to rent an automobile is required for this position. All travel expenses including hotel/Airbnb, mileage or auto rental and gas, and food will be paid on a reimbursement basis only.

The hours will fluctuate between 20 & 30 hours per week.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Identifies, contacts, corresponds with and interviews research study participants, either in person, in a clinical setting, at a subject's residence or by telephone to obtain data for an assigned research project.

  • Collects, codes and enters study information into database and may assist in data compilation.

  • Edits completed interview questionnaires for completeness, legibility and accuracy.

  • Obtains missing or questionable data.

  • Maintains complete and accurate records and files pertaining to one or more research studies.

  • Performs related responsibilities as required.

This position involves travel by car and requires a valid U.S. drivers license, a clean driving history, a personal automobile or ability to rent an automobile. Preferred qualifications include the ability to: work independently, adhere to all university and project travel policies, maintain all project guidelines and protocols, strong recordkeeping skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma or equivalent. One year of administrative support, customer service or other relevant experience. Data entry experience.
