Provides program support for nutritional research projects or studies.
Follows established research protocols.
Conducts behavioral and nutritional assessments including diet, medical, socioeconomic, and drug history.
May provide individual or group psychological, behavioral, and nutritional counseling to study participants as specified by protocol.
Implements diet interventions and evaluates effectiveness.
Collects research data and ensures accuracy of data files. Maintains research records and files.
Analyzes study data and prepares related reports.
May develop, implement, and evaluate patient educational materials.
Participates in study recruitment activities.
Performs related responsibilities as required.
A bachelor's degree in food and nutrition or dietetics.
Completion of an American Dietetic Association approved dietetic internship program.
Registered with the American Dietetic Association.
Licensed as a dietitian in the state of Georgia, or is licensure eligible.
Two (2) years of clinical or research nutrition experience.
Ability to communicate in Spanish
