The role of the Senior Associate Director, Constituent Analytics will collect, visualize, and analyze constituent and direct marketing data.

This position requires a background in email and social media analytics, with a solid knowledge of digital marketing.

Duties will include monitoring social channels, analyzing media, social, video, email and web data, and listening to consumer and trending conversations. This role will also develop recommendations based on measurement reporting and analysis.

These strategic insights will help to inform Emory University’s Advancement and Alumni Engagement, Strategic Communications programming using intelligence integration and segmentation.

  • Collects, visualizes, and analyzes data to determine the efficacy of external communications, solicitations, events, and stewardship touchpoint.

  • Segments data and models ideas to improve outcomes.

  • Mines data, predictive modeling, and other statistical analysis techniques to measure program effectiveness.

  • Develops recommendations based on data to enhance strategic fundraising decisions and process improvements.

  • Generates reports and data dashboards to illustrate performance for constituent giving and engagement efforts.

  • Performs related responsibilities as required.

ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS:

  • Analyze ROI of campaigns across web, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, mobile and display.

  • Develop standards and monitor volume and valence metrics around email and social media.

  • Development and identification of influencers through reporting and analysis will be required.

  • Design/create visual presentations of data using Tableau (or a similar visualization tool); advanced Excel, R and SQL skills are required.

  • Assist in the creation and coordination of a communications strategy that leverages social media platforms and other marketing data to build our social networks.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor's degree and four years of experience in higher education, advancement/development, fundraising or equivalent experience with a non-profit institution.

  • Exceptional quantitative and qualitative problem solving, analytical, and project management skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-3 years of work experience in Digital Marketing Analytics, Social Media, Strategy or Public Relations.

  • Bachelor's degree in a marketing, mathematics, computer science, economics, or business equivalent preferred.

  • Understanding of direct marketing, email and social media strategy, advertising, and customer profiling.

  • Knowledge of analytics platforms, testing tools and other business intelligence tools.

  • Strong social content, listening, and/or channel experience (Falcon IO, Sprinklr, etc.).

  • Passion for social listening, measurement and testing.

  • Must be a self-starter, with strong planning and organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal direction.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.

  • Able to think about both practical and visionary uses of available data. Strong storyteller and insights communicator.

  • Ability to embrace detail-oriented project work while keeping sight of the bigger picture/trends.
