This position would oversee the Rollins Covid-19 Epidemiology Fellowship Program within Emory’s Covid-19 Response Collaborative (ECRC).
The mission of the ECRC is to 1) support practice- and evaluation-focused activities that put the Rollins School of Public Health’s talented academic community into the service of our public health partners during the Covid-19 crisis, and 2) to solidify and expand academic-public health partnerships between Georgia’s public health system, the RSPH and other Georgia-based schools of public health that will endure well beyond the Covid-19 pandemic. There are currently 28 Rollins Covid-19 Epi Fellows placed across the State and in the Georgia Department of Public Health state office.
Directs the strategic planning, development, and implementation of a program.
Serves as a liaison and key spokesperson to various committees and organizations.
Responds to inquiries and assists in promoting the program.
Assists with policy formulation, strategy development, and the management of daily operations.
May collaborate with representatives from private, government, and international agencies.
Conducts research, designs new initiatives, and writes publishable articles and papers.
May supervise staff.
Bachelor's degree in a field related to the program and seven years of professional experience related to the program and previous supervisory and program/project management experience, OR equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
Master's degree preferred.
NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department of work. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
