JOB DESCRIPTION: This position supports the research and assessment needs for staff and programs of within Emory College of Arts and Sciences. Works across multiple systems which house data, including enterprise systems (such as PeopleSoft and OnBase) and internal systems (such as Insight). Manages internal technology systems, specific to databases, queries and reports. Provides technical support to staff. Supports development of systems/solutions for enhanced collection and reporting capabilities. Ensures data accuracy and completeness. Develops data protocols, documents business processes and data standards. Develops, generates, and analyzes regular/annual/ad hoc reports that focus on outcomes related to Emory College student progress, success, and retention. Works to develop new metrics and analytics in support of educational objectives. Creates and conduct assessments of programs; consults with lead staff to evaluate program success for accreditation and continual improvement. Writes reports for internal and external distribution. Consults with leadership on best practices related to data collection and assessment; develops shared practices of assessment and survey development across programs; provides training. Manages relationships with College/University Institutional Technology and College/University Institutional Research departments. Performs other related duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree and five years of data management experience, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Experience with statistical analysis methods and software, and experience working in a higher education setting and/or knowledge of higher education research.
