Seeking two Graduate or Doctoral students with strong backgrounds in Biomedical, Electrical engineering, Computer Science, or Math to participate in ongoing research projects:
There are a variety of physiological signals measured with modern clinical instruments that offer insight into patient physiological conditions. This research concerns about how to apply machine learning techniques to sift through physiological waveforms (ECG, PPG, EEG, etc) combined with clinical information stored in electronic health records (EHR) to advance medical research.
ONGOING RESEARCH PROJECTS INCLUDE:
Delineate Infant neural brain development using EEG.
Early detection of acute coronary syndrome using multimodal data (ECG, PPG, EHR)
Investigating PPG dynamics associated with vasal blood pressure changes.
We are seeking an individual with a solid background in signal processing and machine learning, and a deep interest in addressing current health research challenges.
Good understanding of machine learning and deep learning principles
Proficiency in Python (Matlab proficiency is a plus)
Prior experience in machine learning projects.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with the PI and lab team to produce publishable findings and breakthroughs.
Paid position with a flexible working schedule

NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department of work. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
