Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Supervises Parking Compliance team.

  • Orients, trains, and provides on-going support and feedback to staff to ensure that program standards are maintained and that the workload is handled effectively.

  • Maintains records and prepares reports of Parking Compliance Associates' daily activities to include citations issued.

  • Reviews tickets issued and daily officer reports.

  • Interprets and applies parking regulations and fire codes.

  • Responds to calls and complaints involving parking violations; authorizes and requests towing service to remove vehicles parked illegally and/or causing hazardous conditions.

  • Writes and issues parking citations.

  • Directs the public in the proper use of parking facilities.

  • Observes parking and traffic conditions, taking appropriate action to identify, report and eliminate hazardous conditions.

  • Provides information to faculty, staff, guests, and patients/visitors on the university campus.

  • Performs all duties associated with Parking Compliance Associate as necessary.

  • Coordinates staff schedules and special events coverage.

  • Hires, supervises, and evaluates staff. Performs related responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent and four years of related experience which includes one year of experience in a lead or supervisory role.

  • May require a valid Georgia driver's license and an insurable driving record.

  • Some positions in this classification may require the ability to lift 50 pounds and to bend, stoop and twist.

NOTE: Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; working remote is not an option. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to employee.
