Rollins School of Public Health (RSPH) IT is looking for a Systems Analyst/Administrator, Senior proficient in supporting both Windows and Linux systems. This position is part of the RSPH Infrastructure team supporting approximately 45 servers and specialized workstations, the RSPH Virtual Desktop environment, and access to various EMC Isilon network shares.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Plans and implements one or more muli-platform operating systems, utilities, and related software to meet organizational needs.
May be responsible for applications on dedicated servers.
Ensures the availability, integrity and reliability of assigned systems.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Five years of operating systems analysis/administration experience OR a bachelor's degree and three years of operating systems analysis/administration experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with scripting with PowerShell and BASH Shell.
Knowledge of security requirements for HIPAA and FERPA.
Must be customer focused with the ability to find solutions to help customers work more efficiently and effectively.
Experience with Active Directory management.
Experience installing and maintaining various statistical applications, like SAS, Stata, MaxQDA.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience supporting Apache, Microsoft SQL, MySQL, Ansible, IIS.
Experience with Amazon Web Services environment.
NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University location as needed. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to employee.
